Winton Myers is a Senior Consultant with Viewpoint Training and Consulting specialising in Business Analysis, Business Process Management and Operations Management.
He is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Leadership from the University of South Africa. He is also certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) by APICS the Association for Operations Management and is an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professi onal (CSCP). He was the South African CSCP student of the year in 2006.
He is a member of the Board of International Advisors of the Supply Chain and Logistics Group (SCLG) and in December 2010 he received the SCLG Excellence Award "in recognition for com mitment to excellence towards the Supply Chain and Logistics industry globally".
He is a member of the International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA®) and the Association of Process Management Professionals (ABPMP). He is a non - executive director of the IIBA® South Africa Chapter.
Before co - founding his own training and consulting organisation in 1995, he worked in a senior management position for a number of years for a large engineering products company. Since then he has gained extensive experie nce in training and consulting in a variety of service, manufacturing, telecommunications, logistics, mining, supply chain, petrochemical and government organisations.
He has successfully completed several consulting assignments and presented courses in Southern Africa, UK, the Middle East and Asia.
He is also the author of the chapter on Total Quality Management in the book edited by Wilhelm Nel, Management for Engineers, Technologists and Scientists, Third edition, Juta & Co Ltd, 2012. This book is pre scribed by the University of South Africa.
